BBBB for the Week of August 25, 2019: 🏘️ Fast 4 + Stormy Weather 🌩️⛈️☂️

in Becky's Best Bungalow Bets, Heights

Hello BBBB Friends:

Things to look forward to post Labor Day: football season, schools back in session and tons of new housing inventory.  Well, two out of three are guaranteed and we can only hope that seller's have been holding listings waiting for cooler weather and potentially more buyers in the market.  Only 17 new listings this week in the Heights matched by 17 new contracts, so, no net increase in inventory, again....

I'm featuring four bungalows this week from small to jumbo sized. Additionally, I have a handful of price changes, new contracts and final sales for homes that are Still on My List.  Keep scrolling down to see these changes.

STORMY WEATHER AHEAD
Today is the the 2nd anniversary of the beginning of Hurricane Harvey week. It's probably a good time to remind folks that hurricane season is only half over and extends through Nov 30. Wikipedia provides this chart of recorded storms affecting Texas:

Is your flood insurance in force? Remember it takes 30 days for new policies to go into effect. An exception to the 30 day rule is made for home buyers who are financing their home. If you are paying cash the 30 day waiting period applies.

Let’s go look at houses or talk about selling yours!!!
