BBBB for the Week of Sept 22, 2019: 🏘️ Basically Bungalows + In The News ⛈️🏠💰

in Becky's Best Bungalow Bets, Heights

Hello BBBB Friends:

Listing activity was up this week due in large part to a number of new construction projects with multiple units coming online. New contracts were off substantially most likely due to the inclimate weather. I've selected 5 super cute bungalows to feature this week, plus be sure to keep scrolling down to see price changes, new contracts, and final sales for those homes that are or were Still on My List.

NEWS FLASH
Of course the big news this week was the rain and flooding caused by tropical depression Imelda. I was bummed to learn that Savoir restaurant on Yale at 14th took on water. They plan to open again early next week. Check out this picture from Houstonia Magazine online. Wow!

Flooding news totally eclipsed the other big news this week:  the fed cut interest rates for the second time this year. Real estate economists are split on the immediate impact it will have on mortgage rates and the housing market. Stay tuned!

Let’s go look at houses or talk about selling yours!!!
