It should be a great day for house hunting with temperatures in the 70's and low humidity. There are 67 homes in the Heights* with scheduled open houses today, however, if you've been searching for a while, there may not be many you haven't already seen. Median days on market for this group of homes is 67 days with only 13 on the market for less than 3 weeks.

Listing and contracting activity remained slow this week. I have a short list of featured properties for you and you'll want to keep scrolling down to see price changes, new contracts and final sales for properties that are Still on My List.

It's School Choice Night at the Houston Heights Association monthly meeting tomorrow, October 14 at the Heights Fire Station at 12th & Yale. Representatives from over a dozen area schools and academies will be on hand to provide information about their programs. Meet and greet starts at 6 so you'll have plenty of time to check out school offerings before the formal meeting and presentation of board candidates begins at 7pm. There will be light bites and an adult & kid friendly beverage bar plus a craft corner on the patio to occupy kids during the board presentation.
