BBBB for the Week of Oct 20, 2019: 🏘️ Six Quick Picks + Heights Area School Rankings 🏫 📚 🏆

in Becky's Best Bungalow Bets, Heights

Hello BBBB Friends:

I'm going to attribute the slow week for listings and new contracts to our city's (justifiable) focus on the Astros! Congrats to the new ALCS champs🏆!

Of the 16 new listings in the Heights, I've selected 6 to feature this week at a variety of price points, styles and neighborhoods within the Heights. Additionally, we experienced quite a few price reductions (🔥🔥🔥) for homes that are Still on My List Keep scrolling down to see if that home you've had your eye on has a shiny new price tag!

BY THE NUMBERS-HEIGHTS AREA PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Home buyers frequently target local schools when deciding where to purchase a home; after all, being able to send your kids to public school saves a chunk of change over 12+ years. However, the quality of public schools is important not only to families with school age children but also to neighborhood home owners as there is a link between property values and school quality. While principals and teachers are major factors in school success, parent and community participation are equally as important. If you don't know how to get involved, just call the school and support staff will be happy to get you plugged in.

If you didn't make it out to the Heights Association school night this past week, I've put together the stats for Heights area public schools. For school profiles and a deeper dive into the statistics, click HERE and enter a school name. We can all be proud of the progress that these schools have made and their contribution to maintaining and increasing home values.

Let’s go look at houses or talk about selling yours!!!
