BBBB for the Week of Mar 22, 2020: 🏘️ 7 New + Open House News 📷 📹

in Becky's Best Bungalow Bets, Heights

Hello BBBB Friends:

If you are looking for open houses today, you won't find them posted on HAR. The MLS service has taken down the open house information from its website in light of concerns about COVID19 exposure for buyers and sellers. You can still find open houses by going to other real estate sites including Compass and Zillow.

In light of the pandemic, the way homes are marketed is changing. Virtual open houses will become the norm and tech will be even more important to buyers and sellers. Compass is launching new virtual agent services tools that include interactive virtual showings, live video postcards, and 3D House Staging. Stay tuned for more information as the program is rolled out this week.

New listings in all price points came online this week in the Heights in only slightly lower numbers than previous weeks. There were 24 new listings and 12 new contracts. Of the 12 new contracts, 8 have been on the market for less than a week. The number of active listings increased from 285 to 295 bringing months of inventory on hand to 3.8, still well below the 5 month mark for a balanced market.

I am featuring 7 new listings to help replenish the inventory of properties Still on My List. In addition to the new listings featured below, keep scrolling down to see price changes, new contracts and final sales of homes that I have previously reviewed. Note that there were a couple of huge price reductions in the over $1 million home category.

Let’s go look at houses or talk about selling yours!!!
