BBBB for the Week of Aug 16, 2020: 🏘️ Top 5 + Stormy Weather Ahead ⛈️☂️

in Becky's Best Bungalow Bets, Heights

Hello BBBB Friends:

Real estate in the Heights continues to mosy along. We are on track with August sales to meet or exceed last year's August totals, however, we are still substantially behind in total sales year to date.  I'm featuring 5 for you today! I also have quite a few price reductions and new contracts to report from among those homes that are Still on My List. Check out these changes by scrolling down!

This has been a very active storm season in the Atlantic with 11 named storms so far and yet the heavy part of the Atlantic hurricane season doesn't start for another week. Remember: Ike, Harvey, Rita and Alicia all hit Houston mid-August or later. Hurricane season extends through Nov 30.

Is your flood insurance in force? Remember, it takes 30 days for new policies to go into effect. An exception to the 30-day rule is made for homebuyers who are financing their home. If you are paying cash the 30-day waiting period still applies.

BBBB will be taking a break until September! Please feel free to text or email me with any questions you may have about what's new, and,

Let’s go look at houses or talk about selling yours!!!
