BBBB for the Week of Dec 06, 2020: 🏘️ Short List + the 411 on Lights in the Heights 🎄✨

in Becky's Best Bungalow Bets, Heights

Hello BBBB Friends:

Have you ever wondered why a house you know has been listed for ages suddenly shows up as a new listing on HAR? When a property sits on the MLS too long it becomes stale and new potential buyers may assume there is something wrong with the property or they may not even see it. By withdrawing the listing and rebranding it as a new property the listing gets a new life. This week there were 25 "new" listings in the Heights, however, only 8  were truly "just listed".

Today I am featuring 3 new listings. I also have several price changes, new contracts, and a bunch of final sales to report from among homes that are Still on My List, so be sure to keep scrolling down to see if that home you've had your eye on has a shiny new price tag or is now off your list!

Lights in the Heights 2020
While the traditional Lights in the Heights event will not be held this year due to the pandemic, the Woodland Heights Civic Association has put together several events to keep the spirit of LITH alive:
  • House Decorating Competition- is ON with judging to be held on Friday, Dec 11th.
  • Esplanade Tree Decorating Competition- Woodland Heights families working in teams will decorate Christmas trees on the Norhill Esplanade for the enjoyment of all!
  • Christmas Lights and Decorations Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt- download the scavenger hunt clues on December 11th from the Woodland Heights Civic Association website at  www.woodland-heights.org/lith.The scavenger hunt will end on December 26th.
Let’s go look at houses or talk about selling yours!!!
