Heavy weather will make house hunting today a challenge but there are plenty of open houses scheduled so grab an umbrella and head on out! Listing activity remained low this week but I have 4 new listings to feature for you today. In spite of low inventory and a global pandemic, homes in the Heights and across Houston continued to sell at a record pace in November. In November, however, it was the $500-600k category generating the most sales. According to HAR Chairman John Nugent, "In my 50 years in the real estate business, I have never seen a market defy supply and seasonality the way Houston has-amid a pandemic, no less." He's right, it's pretty amazing. Based on the number of properties under contract and scheduled to close we will surpass 2019 total sales in the Heights.
